When you sit down to meditate, who is your guide?
Do you go to YouTube and find a video to follow? Perhaps you downloaded an app on your phone and follow guided meditations by some of the top teachers.
Do you listen to music, the sound of nature or the voice of someone taking you through the meditation, step by step?
We all have different ways we like to be guided in our meditation. Many times we look try different ways till we find a method that resonates with us.
Do you know why a certain method of meditation resonates with you?
I believe you can be and should be your own guide once you have learned to sit still. This means you can used different guided meditations until you have quite the mind enough to listen to your own voice.
When you allow your mind to wander, look at where it goes and listen to the thoughts that come to you.
Write down the ideas or thoughts the come to you. In these ideas, you possess powerful statements that can guide you to the live you want to life.
In these ideas you find what is real to you and you heart. You find your passion and reason to want to live a life worth pursuing.
Many thoughts come for your unconscious mind. You can only hear them if you listen to those thoughts with a pure heart and mind…
