What inspires you to want to accomplish more?
What principles will you teach your family, friends, co-workers, staff and team so they can also develop a successful mind? I recommend teaching them the principles in the book, 7 Laws of Prosperity.
I believe it is important to build a mindset that people want to emulate. Your positive mindset will attract others to you, as they look to find out, why you are so successful.
As a leader, your goal is to inspire people who want to follow your example of personal development, reaching goals and being mindful of how to treat others.
People want to follow your example not just the words you speak to them. The words you speak are the foundation. Look to your city skyline and you see tall multi-story buildings. For those building to stand, first the builders must dig a deep foundation.
The same goes for a tree. If the roots are not deep, the tree will topple over.
We are not different.
If we want to communicate with our employees, business partners, spouses, friends or family, we need to build a strong foundation that inspires to grow a successful mind. One that is built on the right principles and morals.

Why do you stand on the principles you have?
What principles do you live by that cannot be broken?
What inspires you to succeed?
Answers these questions and we begin to understand what is important to you.
Know who you are and treat people the way they want to be treated. This can only happen if you build a successful mind on positive thoughts. You can use daily affirmation to build positive thoughts about yourself.
A negative mindset can be built but will not inspire you to accomplish more. It will only drag you down and others around you.
No matter what you believe or how set you are in your ways, you can always change who you are and the path you are taking.
You need to know what success principles you need to repeat daily and live by, so you can accomplish what you want.
Successful Mind Principles to Live By
With People and Yourself
Do you have a why? How strong is your why?
If you know your why, you are on your chosen path. Weather in business or our personal life a strong why leads us toward our goals.
If you do not have a why, grab a pen and paper. Stop reading this and search within yourself for your why. Ask yourself some important question and then meditate on them to find out why you do what you do each day.
Once you have your why, begin to read this article again. You need to have a reason that is so strong that is inspires you, uplifts you and compels you to have to go for you dreams.
I believe your why should include, how you are going to connect with people.
This means how will you listen to them when they talk. Will you listen with your ears, eyes, heart and body?
Will you ask question to better understand people? As your talking with that person, if you offer your help, will you help?
Remember long after the conversation is done, will you follow up with the person in a loving, honest and effective way.
The goal is to communicate with the person the way you want to see that person succeed.
It is important to engage in communication, with customers, by having a friendly attitude. Be honest with your customers and use all the sales tools you know to solve their problems.
Lean to become people smart and understand how to communicate with different personalities.
Remember your name is your brand and your credit card through life. How you carry yourself will determine the level of success you obtain in your life time.
It is important to understand the basics of making a good presentation.
When you meet customers for the first time, remember to smile, shake hands, offer your name and ask for theirs.
Make and keep eye contact. Ask good open ended questions to find out more about the customer’s needs. Do not lie just to make a sale. Become a trusted advisor. A person people want to do business with.
When people trust you, they send business referrals your way as a thank you.
The foundation of good customer service is confirming the customers wants and needs. You offer a solution the customer understands and can use. A successful sale happens when you understand your customers wants and needs.
With Your Company
If you own a business, then you know the importance of having a vision and mission statement for your business. These two statements guide your every decision as you look to build your business reputation. Your vision and mission statement is used to build the foundation of your business.
In the mind of your employees it sets the standards they will need to stand for, regardless of what happens with the customer.
Even when a customer comes in angry, it is important to understand how you will handle this situation based on your mission and vision statement.
If you see anyone at your company doing well, it is important to reward them. Sometimes a simple thank you will do and sometimes is it nice to give something that has a monetary value.
You can ask your employees what they would like to have by engaging them in the decision-making process.
Your company’s foundation is only as strong as the person with the weakest believes about what your company stands for. Therefore, it is important to take your time when hiring the right people based on your vison and mission statement.
With People and Yourself, Customers, Company and Staff
Depending on your situation you need to use different techniques to find success. When you build the proper foundation, realize that what you do in one situation usually resembles what you would do in another.
Where can you learn these principles?
I would suggest reading book, listening to podcasts, listening to other audio programing, attending courses or seminars and learning from others who have worked in your position.
When you have a good moral code behind your decisions you will see how that translates to every decision you make. You find ways to have a win-win outcome for everyone.
If you are not sure how to build the right foundation of a successful mind, talk to people who you feel have the qualities you desire.
Yes, you may need a mentor or coach to guide you. We all need to understand people, our personal life, our customers, our company, our staff and those we do not know.
Not all of us can see where we need guidance and many times we need support. The same support we can give others and help inspire them to build a strong foundation of a successful mind.
No matter your situation remember to be friendly, smile (if appropriate), be positive and stand on the principles you are building your life on.
Many of the principles outlined in this articled where thought to me by my parents when I was young.
When I was working in the homebuilding industry I really had the opportunity to see these principles at work.
I had to have a positive business mindset. I had to understand marketing, motivation, success and the power of thought.
Everyone you meet is at a different stage in life. Understand the stage you are at today. For each belief, find ways to become strongly rooted in it, like a tree.
Like the roots of a tree, as we grow we become stronger and grounded deeper in our principles.
Know what you believe in and why. Make sure you ground yourself in the right place and build a successful life so you can accomplish more and help others do the same.
