Thought of the Day: May 24, 2018 – Spiritual Technology
Can the knowledge you and I use every day, help build our understanding of what and how to use spiritual technology?
I believe the answer is yes!
Technology is amazing and can be used virtually anywhere. Music is very calming and can help you focus. When I want to connect to my creative side I put on some classical music but many people look to religious music.
Today, you can download the Bible, Koran, Gospels of Buddha, book from the Hindu religion, The Torah and may others books.
You can get access to classes, lectures and religious talks iTunes. I enjoy listening to religious programming. It helps me stay grounded in the right principles and morels. I feel uplifted in words of wisdom.
So who would you listen to for spiritual guidance?
You can listen to what the Dali Lama, Joel Osteen, Ram Dass, a Rabbi and hundreds of other influential speakers have to say, all without spending thousands of dollars to travel to them.
The smartphone is a form of spiritual technology if used that way. Why not down load some social media app’s such as Twitter and Facebook and connect with these people?
You can use this technology to do community meetings and discuss your beliefs, You can engage in mindful chat groups, forums or even on web meetings to discuss what you are learning from the teachings you enjoy.
I know some people reading this will say, “I don’t need technology. All I need is my religious book.”
For you, you are right.
But there is a large part of society looking for a new way to connect. They are willing to use technology and connect to their spiritual side.
