Thought of the Day: March 02, 2018 – Record Dreams
When you go to sleep each night, do you dream?
If so, are your dream in black and white, or do you dream in multiple colours?
Do you remember your dreams when you wake up or do they fade away as soon as you open your eyes?
Have you woken up and then tried to remember the details of you dream? What it meant and why you had it?
What if we could record dreams then watch them in the morning? Maybe catalog dreams and then watch them like a series on Netflix. How interesting would it be if you and I could watch the recorded dreams of other people?
Who’s dream would you watch? Better yet, who do you think would watch your dreams?
Would you want to record your dreams if you had the chance and delve deep into your subconscious mind?
What could you gain from being able to record dreams and then watch them? Could you see yourself analyzing them with a professional physiologist?
Could remembering all your dreams give you a better perspective on life? What if you could get ideas for the next amazing invention human kind is waiting for?
To record dreams, we would be hooked up to a machine. Maybe it would be a device the size of a wrist watch? Could the dream recorder we a pill we take which automatically uploads your dream to a huge server?
How much space, on a hard drive, would one dream take?
I would love to watch the dreams I have had, because some mornings when I wake up I can remember what happen in full detail. Being able to go back and watching it again could open new possibilities.
Being able to watch dreams I can’t remember would be an even more powerful tool. I could watch the dreams over and over till I got the message my subconscious mind was sending me. I could also meditate on each dream in the morning to explore the meaning.
We need to realize if we choose to be hooked up to a machine, what if the artificial intelligence took over. What if it left you in a dream state. Only to record dreams for someone else to watch and enjoy, like a television show and you never woke up?
