Thought of the Day: March 27, 2018 – Purpose is Your Reason
Finding ones purpose is the reason to ask yourself questions. Questions to ask yourself at some point in their life include, What is my reason to live? Why am I hear? How can I accomplish my goals. Who is here to help me? Why is my purpose my purpose?
There have been numerous books written, music recorded, poems recited, inventions developed, companies started and talks given, to help you and I find our reason to live.
Some of today’s most influential people include: Paulo Coelho, Erkhart Tolle, Kanye West, Narendra Modi, Elon Musk, Tim Ferriss, Dave Asprey, Nelson Mandela, Conor McGregor, Pope Francis and the list goes on and on.
These people at some point in their life sat down and decided things needed to change. They wanted to make a difference in their life and/or in the lives of others.
They developed a sense of purpose. A reason to exist. Maybe they did not write what they believed to be important, but they did act on what they believed would be right.
All of the influential people in the world have cultivated a purpose that is larger than themselves. They have found ways to help their family and millions of unfortunate people around the world.
Have you sat down to consider your purpose? If you have not, I encourage you to take some time this today. Start now!
Explore deep within yourself and find your reason for a better existence.
I do not believe you and I were born to work a 9am-5pm job. If you are ok with getting old, sick and dying then this exercise is not for you. Thank you for reading.
