In order to do a one minute meditation you do not have to go into nature, join a class, know how to do yoga, go to a beach or sit by a river. Although these place would be nice places to meditate, I believe it can be simper than most of us make it.
My goal is to help you make time to do a one minute meditation because I believe we can all find one minute in our busy day.
With such a busy day from the moment we wake up to the time we go to bed it can be hard to find time, better yet, make time for meditation.
But I believe you and I can make one minute when we get up. After we shower. Before we leave for work. When we get to work. On our coffee break or on our lunch. Heck go to the bathroom and do it there because you need to leave your desk.
You can do it when you get home. Before or after dinner. Before you turn on the television or after you turn it off. Why not do it before bedtime?
There are so many opportunities for you and I to do a one minute mediation each day. For many of us we can probably do 2-3, one minute meditations if we made time for them.
It is true we only do what we make time for.
You may already be aware of the benefits of meditation. If you don’t the advantages of meditation, you can never really understand for yourself what others enjoy about it.

I believe even if you do not have 10, 15, 30 or even 60 minutes to meditate, you can take one minute of your day to focus on you.
No matter the time of day you pick, I believe if you follow the steps below, you can meditate for any length of time you desire. You can start with one minute and build from there. Like Lau Tzu, the famous Chinese’s philosopher, said, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.”
I like to think, “This journey called meditation begins with a single breath.”
I believe that every moment is meditation and every meditation is made of moments. Start with just one minute and see where you can take your meditation practice. Soon you will be increasing your time to two minutes and beyond.
