Effectively Grow Your Data Base and Sales
It is important to network your business and finding new places to market your company. Everywhere you go you should be talking to people. Asking questions and telling them about what you do.
Going out and building relationships with other, in my opinion, is one of the most effective ways you can build your business and get brand exposure.
Do you want to find new prospects and add people to your sales funnel?
Do you want to increase sales but not sure how you can do this? You may need to sit with your sales manager or coach and review what your current process and see if there is something missing.
If everything looks good and you still need to build your sales funnel I would start by contacting the people closest to you. Your personal network can help you get out of that sales slump.
5 Easy Ways to Network Your Business
Below are 5 concepts you can apply to your daily routine. I would suggest you look at what is not working and change that or stop doing it as you find new ways to market yourself.
No matter the size of your business and sales team, you can grow your network and find opportunities that do not exist to you right now.
Join A Club
No matter what industry you are in, you can find like-minded people to network your business with. People want to share ideas, discuss sales, products, services and expand their network, as well.
You may want to consider joining a club where you can meet like-minded people.
If no club or group exists consider starting your own. You can use professional networking platforms such as Linkedin, Twitter and even Facebook, to find groups of people or companies you share common interests.
In your group, you should include current customers of your business. These customers enjoy your products and services and they can lead you to new business by giving you hard to find referrals.
Remember to service the people in your club or group. They will not help you network your business if they feel you are not genuine and have their best interest at heart.
Team Up with People
If you do not have time to join a club or start a group, consider teaming up with other companies to sell your products or services.
Yes, affiliate marking can be an effective way to increase sales.
Small and larger businesses such as Wal-Mart, Amazon and McDonald’s have partnered up with other companies to market their business, grow market share and spread brand knowledge.
Wal-Mart, Amazon and Ali Baba do not have factories all around the world. They do not develop new products, package or marketing new products.
Instead thousands of people and companies have contacted them and asked if they can partner up with them to sell their products and services.
Have you heard of drop shipping? This is a very similar concept, people like you and I are using, to do business and network on the computer as a freelance entrepreneur.
Affiliate marketing is so important that I suggest you find companies who can provide your customers with a mutual benefit. Once you find a company that fits your vision and goals find a way to partner up with them.
For example, if you are a home builder, find companies and products you can market along with the quality of home. Network your business along with the other companies brand name and imager.
Does your business have a social media presence? If not, why have you chosen not to use this amazing marketing tool for your business?
Did you know each day millions of people go to Google or Bing and enter questions into the search bar to find what they are looking for?
If you are not online those users cannot find your business. This means you may have to spend more money to network your business so people can find out about what you do.
If you are not using YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter or a website, you are missing the opportunity to showcase who your company is and why people should do business with you.
You do not have to use every social media tool. What you need to do is find one or two social platforms your customers enjoy using. You need to know the demographics of your customer so you can target them on the right social platforms.
When you are on the right platform interacting with your customer or potential customer becomes easier. This is why it is important to understand where your customers is online.
A webinar can be a powerful way to connect to your target audience and increase the awareness of your business. Webinars are great ways for new customers to find out about your, your company and different products and service you provide.
Depending on your company’s product or service a webinar might not be possible. If you cannot do live communication videos with customers, then look to pre-recorded videos where customers can get to know you.
Although the video is pre-recorded you can still make it look and feel as if the recording is live and current.
You should also post your videos on your website and to the second largest search engine online, YouTube.
During the webinar, encourage interaction before, during and after so you can get to know your prospect. This is one of the most important steps in networking your business.
Your webinar adds potential customers to your sales funnel. The webinar should be informative, build brand identity and if you do a great job, it can lead to building relationships and closing new deals to increase sales.
Let’s consider the fact that you do have a website. It is important to engage your potential customers when they visit your online place of business.
An effective way to network your business is to have a blog on your website. You can write, or hire someone to write, a short article on the different products of services you provide.
Having content potential customers can view could be important. Another way companies are engaging with new potential customers, is using testimonials from previous customers of the business.
Blogs and testimonials allow customers to connect with your company, brand, mission and vision. Third party companies see who is doing business with you. If their competition is doing business with you, they might want to do business with you also.
When you invite new customers to subscribe to your network, make it easy for them to join. No one want to visit your website and have a bad or complicated experience.
You can ask current and potential customers to leave comments on blog posts or testimonials of their experience.
Perhaps you can ask them to follow you on your Facebook page. You can ask them to share your blog to their favorite social media platform if they found value in you, your company or product.
