Thought of the Day: January 11, 2018 – Judgement
Too many of us place judgement on others before we have the opportunity to know the other person. We think we know best and everything about them.
Why are we so quick to place judgement of those we meet?
I believe many of us have insecure and the conclusions we place on others is based on those insecurities. We allow our ego to feel superiors in situations. We do not want to feel inferior.
Do you ever catch yourself making up a story about a situation that has not happen? Then you find yourself having an argument, with yourself, based on that fake conversation?
I certainly have done this. I believe I do this because my ego is looking to protect itself from some unforeseen harm or interaction in the future.
If you are placing judgment on others, I ask you to not do it anymore as it is not going to get you anywhere. Even if the person has done something wrong.
Who are we to judge someone else and their actions? Have we not also made many mistakes? Don’t other people them get the right to judge us?
I believe we need to work on accepting others. This only happens when we practice non-judgement in our life…
