Thought of the Day: January 19, 2018 – Empty Mind
There will be days where you are not thinking about anything in particular. Your mind may wander from thought to thought without really thinking about anything, judging anything or wanting anything.
You will feel like you have an empty mind. A mind that does not focus on anything one thing. A clear mind. It will feel like you have peace in your heart, mind and soul.
Thoughts will not race through your mind and you will not try to make yourself think about anything. You will not worry about what needs to be done. What is on your list, what you have not done yet or what someone else may require of you.
One thing you will know is that you want to accomplish something big and your our dreams and goals may be come clearer as you witness the emptiness of your mind.
When you empty the mind your heart knows what it needs. I believe it always knows but doesn’t have the time to focus on it because we have so many thought that do not serve us.
The mind doesn’t to need more on its plate. We already know what we need to do and how we need to take action. When you focus on something over that needs to be one you fill your mind with things that may not be important.
You have to be content with where you are this moment. Start to pursue your dreams and what need to fill your mind next will come but can only come when you empty your mind.
Try to sit in a quite space and empty the mind. You can go out into nature, sit and meditate or even sit in bed with not distractions. Listen between the lines. This will allow you to think of new thoughts and opportunity for the future…
