Thought of the Day: January 12, 2018 – Discomfort
Too many of us have discomfort in your bodies, soul and our mind. When we sit we move around trying to find the right position so we can relax.
When we have discomfort in our mind, we cannot allow our brain and heart to find that place where stillness, awareness and quite meet.
The reason many of us have this uneasiness is because we have not let go of the things that keep us in this state.
Maybe we have not forgiven someone? Maybe you are holding on to something from when you were a child. The words and actions of people can hurt us and we can put up walls to protect us.
You and I need to have faith and trust that if we take the right steps, do the right things and treat people the best we can, life will take care of itself. We must learn to forgive the past. It is not and should not be in the present moment with you.
If we can do this the disease in our mind will cease to exist, we will let go of the things that bring us discomfort and allow us to connect to others so we can help them let go also…
