You may want to consider joining a club where you can meet like-minded people.
If no club or group exists consider starting your own. You can use professional networking platforms such as Linkedin, Twitter and even Facebook, to find groups of people or companies you share common interests.
In your group, you should include current customers of your business. These customers enjoy your products and services and they can lead you to new business by giving you hard to find referrals.
Remember to service the people in your club or group. They will not help you network your business if they feel you are not genuine and have their best interest at heart.
Team Up with People
If you do not have time to join a club or start a group, consider teaming up with other companies to sell your products or services.

Small and larger businesses such as Wal-Mart, Amazon and McDonald’s have partnered up with other companies to market their business, grow market share and spread brand knowledge.

For example, if you are a home builder, find companies and products you can market along with the quality of home. Network your business along with the other companies brand name and imager.

Did you know each day millions of people go to Google or Bing and enter questions into the search bar to find what they are looking for?
If you are not online those users cannot find your business. This means you may have to spend more money to network your business so people can find out about what you do.
If you are not using YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter or a website, you are missing the opportunity to showcase who your company is and why people should do business with you.
You do not have to use every social media tool. What you need to do is find one or two social platforms your customers enjoy using. You need to know the demographics of your customer so you can target them on the right social platforms.
When you are on the right platform interacting with your customer or potential customer becomes easier. This is why it is important to understand where your customers is online.
A webinar can be a powerful way to connect to your target audience and increase the awareness of your business. Webinars are great ways for new customers to find out about your, your company and different products and service you provide.
Depending on your company’s product or service a webinar might not be possible. If you cannot do live communication videos with customers, then look to pre-recorded videos where customers can get to know you.
Although the video is pre-recorded you can still make it look and feel as if the recording is live and current.
