Simple Ways To Make More Money
Everyone says, I want to make more money. But do most people have a plan on how to do that?
This article will show you 5 simple ways to make more money in your spare time. If you can’t believe you can make thousands or tens of thousands in your spare time, you’re not alone.
The goal is to help you see that you can make start small and grow your income in your spare time to whatever number you want.
You need a goal, a plan and action to make that goal a reality.
Do you know why you want to make some extra money?
Are you looking to pay bills? Travel? Fill the gas tank. Buy food? Want new clothes? Want to give more or do you want to fund a business venture?
Whatever your reason it has to be a good enough reason for you to take action daily to make more money in your spare time.
Are you willing to get up off the couch and live the life you want and not watch others live the life they want?
Each idea below is one that I have used to make more money in my spare time.
Increase Your Bottom Line
Sure there are many ways to make more money in your spare time. You have to find the way that works best for you. You can spend more time at work. Take more clients. Open earlier and close later.
The ideas here are for you to get away from your 9-5 and look for ways to take control of your own life.
Pre-Sell Products or Services
Some people says it takes money to make money. For some things this might be true but not for everything. If you look at money and business in a different way you will find ways to leverage money you do not have.
Recently, I wanted to purchase a watch that connected to my phone. I could pay for it or I could find a way to earn the watch.
I messaged my Facebook peers and asked if anyone else was in the market of a new watch. There were about 10 people. I pre-sold the watch to the 10 people, with an extra $5 increase.
With the $5 increase to the price I was able to sell the watches and get myself a “Free” watch.
I did not have to get the watch. I could have kept the money.
By the time I received my new watch, I upgraded phones. My new watch was not compatible. I ended up selling the watch I purchased for $100.
Do you know where your money goes at the end of each month? If you do not know, then it is time for you to figure it out. Sit down with your bills and map out where your money is going.
Do you eat out everyday? Buy multiple coffees? Carry a balance on your credit card? Pay for Cable or a LAN line? Buy groceries and throwing some out before you can eat it?
An effective way to keep more of your money is to cut your cable. Right there you can save $80-$100 per month. Instead you can look for alternative services that do not cost as much.
Use only your credit card or your debit card but do not use both. Many people prefer the cash system also. If that works for you do that.
The goal is not to pay interest on borrowed money. Take the money you would be paying on interest and pay other bill such as your mortgage.
Even $400 extra a month on your mortgage will pay it off 5-10 years faster. (Depending on your mortgage amount.)
Clear The Clutter
Once or twice a year take a look around the home and see what you can sell. We in North America, seem to collect and hoard everything we can. We store things in boxes because we believe we will use the item someday.
If you have not used or looked at the item in years it might be time to let it go.
Have a garage sale or sell items on eBay. As the old adage goes, one mans garbage is another mans treasure.
Depending on what your selling you can resell the items and make hundreds of dollars. That money can then be put towards your goals, paying bills, travel or what ever you see fit.
Are You An Expert
Do you consider your self an expert in some topic? Why not take the information and knowledge you have and teach it to a group of people?
Depending on the depth of knowledge you have and amount of people interested, you can hold a seminar and teach.
Not everyone is born with the ability to teach or stand in front of large crowds. Start small and get good at what you want to teach.
The better you get at your craft the more people you can present in front in the future.
You can teach what you know for free at first to get practice. As you get better at presenting you can start by charging $5/person and maybe someday you can charge $10,000 or more.
That is how many consultants get paid all over the world. Believe in yourself.
Have A Hobby
If you do awesome. If you do not, your job is to find a hobby. Something you prefer to do other than work a 9-5 for someone else.
If you are a business owner, I’m sure your goal is not to spend all your waking hours growing and managing your business.
You started a business so someday you can scale yourself out of your business.
If you could not go to work, your business or your regular schedule what would you do instead?
Turn that hobby into a money make venture for a side business. I’m not saying quit your job or business. What I am saying is find ways to make more money in the hours you are not making money.
Now it’s your turn to influence others. Share the answers to questions people are looking for on your favorite social media sites. It’s easy to do. Just click the button so your inner circle can start learning.
