Who are you hoping to attract to your blog? The better you can answer this question the better you will understand your audience.
What will you write about? Now that you know who your target audience is, you can better cater your content to them.
Where will you blog? Will you host your own website? Are you going to use WordPress, Wix, Weebly or a social media platform like Tumblr?
When will you have time to blog? Everyone has a busy schedule. Consider that a well writing blog can take hours, depending on length. Do you have the time to dedicate yourself to your blog?
Why do you want to blog? This is an important question to consider. The how really is easy when you know the why. Are you knowledgable on certain topics. Are you a writer, a photographer, in sales or looking to share your views?
I don’t know about you, but for me, I have a tough time writing and formulating thoughts when the space is not quiet.
Consider a space and time which will be best for you to write. A home office, a coffee shop, on your lunch break or going to your local park. These can all be great areas to sit and create for your blog.
If you plan to sit outside and write, consider an alternative location if it rains or snows.

I have traveled to different parts of the world. I enjoy reading, being in nature and listening to podcasts.
Health, sales and wealth creation have been apart of my day-to-day life.
What about you, what is your experience? What do you have knowledge about that you could share with others and potentially start a business with?
Before I began blogging I did not consider my audience. My excitement was so powerful that I just want to write and put out great content.
I figured I would write. Slap on a fancy title and people would find me through Google.
I was wrong.
My heart was in the right place but my technique was not. I did not have a plan on who would be my target audience.
My recommendation is if you have not figured out your target audience sit down and figured this out.
Perhaps your blog is about dogs. Is your blog a general blog about dogs or are you writing about a specific bread?
When you blog this is something to consider.
Once you know your audience you can start to create content that they will enjoy.
Consider blogging about both sides of the topic you write. Not only do you expand you understanding, you also open up your readership to people who may not consider your blog.
When you give different perspectives it also allow you to double the amount of content you can write about on your site.
